Message From Mrs. Chamberlin

Dear Parents,

On behalf of our entire staff, we would like to welcome you to the 2018-2019 school year! Over the summer, our teachers, secretaries, custodians, and other school staff have worked diligently to make North Beardsley Elementary a clean, safe, learning environment for all our students.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Terri Chamberlin and I am honored to be the new principal of North Beardsley Elementary. This will be my 32nd year working in the Beardsley School District. North Beardsley was my home for many years as a teacher and then as a Vice Principal, before I moved to San Lauren Elementary.  For the past ten years, I have been Principal at San Lauren Elementary. I am excited to come back to my home school and looking forward to getting to know all the new staff, students, parents, and families of the North Beardsley Elementary School community.

The North Beardsley staff are committed to working tirelessly to provide challenging educational opportunities for your children each day. But to be successful as we can be, we need your help. You are a special and unique part of your child’s  learning experience. Collaboration with your child’s teacher is a main ingredient to a healthy and successful year. Open communication is vital to ensure a successful home-school partnership throughout the year. Parent involvement is an important aspect of every child’s education and is the primary factor in a students’ success in school.

As your Principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors—teachers, students and parents—are excited to be here! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun and nurturing environment.  Please feel free to call the school anytime you have questions or concerns. If I am not available I will be happy to return your call as soon as possible.
